Buying guide · Doors & interior elements

A good fit starts
with clear information.

Begin with an opening size, existing door dimensions or a cabinet drawing. Label what you measured so we can review the frame and fittings.

Two measurements.
Two different meanings.

Opening size is the clear width and height inside the cabinet opening.

Door leaf size is one finished door’s width and height. A pair has two leaves, each with its own dimensions and hinge side.

Opening dimensions alone do not define the finished doors or their installation gaps.

Measuring concepts only. This illustration is not to scale and does not specify production gaps or hinge positions.
01 · Measure

Record the opening
or the existing leaf.

Measure opening width at top, middle and bottom, and height at left, centre and right. Note variations. For a replacement, record the existing leaf’s width, height and thickness.

Use one unit throughout. Do not subtract a general allowance: the frame, hinges and installation gaps must be confirmed together.

02 · Door arrangement

Show the split
and the hinge side.

Mark the door count and left or right hinges, viewed from the front. Show paired leaves and nearby walls, drawers or furniture that affect opening.

If the split is undecided, say so. An area budget is not approval to manufacture.

03 · Cabinet & fittings

Check what the
door will attach to.

Send the cabinet material, side-panel thickness and photographs of existing hinges and mounting points. Show whether doors sit over the cabinet sides or inside the opening.

Confirm cabinet compatibility and mounting details in the production drawing.

What is supplied

A complete assembled door with its standard handle and matching hinges. Cabinet bodies, shelves and hanging rails are separate. Freight, taxes and installation are additional.

04 · Inside the cabinet

Measure shelves
and rails separately.

Shelves: width × depth, quantity and surface. Rails: length, quantity and support arrangement. Include cabinet construction and intended use.

Fittings, fixing method and load requirements need confirmation with the quotation. Interior elements are quoted separately.

05 · Confirm

Review the drawing.
Then begin production.

Approve each leaf’s dimensions, quantity, opening side, frame, surface code, colour, handle and hinges. Confirm physical samples where needed.

GM146 stone doors use only 4 mm sintered stone. Each standard door is billed at a minimum 0.5 m² per leaf; paired leaves are calculated separately.

Standard production: 2–4 weeks after final dimensions, specifications and payment are confirmed. Shipping is additional.
